Filling Out the I-539 Form
Next, you will submit your status change request. To do this, complete the I-539 form, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status. This form must be filled out accurately and submitted along with the I-20 form and SEVIS fee payment receipt. Submitting the Request to USCIS

Waiting and Maintaining Tourist Status
After submitting your request, you must wait for the USCIS decision. During this period, it’s essential to maintain your tourist status by adhering to all conditions of your B-1/B-2 visa.
