If you are applying to study at MILA, you have two options:

Apply for a change of status within the United States through a process with USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services).You must be in a valid status at the time of application.
How does the change of status process for students work?
The change of status process can be divided into two steps:

The first step is to enroll at MILA and obtain the I-20 form issued by the school.
The second step is to apply for a change of status with immigration.
